You were trying out your new gardening tools from Auntie Tori tonight.  We think you are a pretty good helper getting the weeds out of the garden!

My New Ride

Gaga and Papa gave me a bike for my birthday!  Daddy and I know we have to wear our helmets to be safe.

Two! Two! Looks who 2!

Happy 2nd Birthday Colman!  You are loving trains these days so it was only fitting that you had a train party.  Mommy and Dada crafted a food train for everyone to enjoy.  The engine was your cake and then the train cars had yummy treats (Coal Car - Black Olives; Refrigerator Car - Fruit Salad; Produce Car - Veggies; Hopper Car - Dip for veggies; Log Car - pretzel rods and finally the Caboose - oreo cake pops with Thomas the Train)  The water tower was nearby along with Station House Sandwiches and Around the Bend Pasta Salad.  Outside at the Steamworks there were bubbles to play with and train whistles to blow. What a wonderful day you had with family and friends helping you celebrate!  Mommy and Daddy were very lucky that they had photographers to help capture the day (special thanks to Birgitta, Mandy and Mike for taking such great pics as seen below!)  We love you like crazy and cannot wait to see what the next year brings!

Flotsam Adventures

Very early on May 18th, we woke you up for the big trip to Florida!  You had your first plane ride, experienced a layover in a very busy Atlanta airport and hit the beach running once your feet landed.  What a wonderful Flotsam adventure we had - you were pretty fearless when it came to the ocean, wanting to get your toes wet, exploring all that the sand had to offer you and even did a little swimming with Daddy when the waves weren't so rough.  We couldn't bring back the crab that the friendly neighbors on the beach brought over to you but we did bring back some sand, shells and your very own WINGS that you earned on your first flight.  Congrats to Matt and Jamie!  We'll always remember Pensacola Florida where we celebrated your wedding.
